We long to see thriving communities of faith planted in every corner or every campus: communities that believe that to be Christian isn't to give up who we are but rather to step into the fullness of who God has made us to be. We hope to see every gender, ethnicity, major, denomination, and interest group on campus become transformed by the unrelenting love of Jesus Christ.
Meet the Staff: Stephanie Cheung
Steph a 2nd generation Cantonese-American woman, a daughter to immigrant parents and an older sister to Will. She began serving with InterVarsity in 2013. She currently serves as the Ministry Team Leader in the Steinbeck Area and has a passion for learning and spending time with, coaching, and developing staff and students “on campus” and meeting new people.
She enjoys collecting and completing Disney-themed jigsaw puzzles, biking, watching spy movies and funny TV shows, and eating noodles, Sour Patch Kids, and egg tarts. She is really excited to connect with you!
Meet the Staff: Benita Isaac
This is Benita's fourth year working as a staff minister with InterVarsity at UC Santa Cruz. She is an alumni of UCSC (class of 2018). Benita is passionate about seeing Jesus's kin-dom justice usher in shalom on earth through university students. Her ministry is fueled by aiming to center voices that are usually marginalized in Christian spaces.
If she’s not working, she’s probably watching Avatar, making tea, listening to Kollywood music, doing handstands, or going on a walk. She is so excited to meet new students and see how God is working their lives!

We are a multi-ethnic community of students seeking to develop leaders who reach every corner of the campus with the love of Jesus Christ.
