Nia Alexander, Campus Staff MinisterMeet Nia, she went to UCSC and that’s where she decided to take her relationship with Jesus seriously and make Him her Lord! Nia enjoys being in nature [that she can see (the ocean is a different territory)], joking around, listening to, and writing music about the Lord. After experiencing the true love of Christ, she’s made it her mission to let people know that God is who He says He is, and He will do what He said He will do, and because of that, He’s worthy to worship (Romans 12:1)!

Natalie Colby, Campus Staff Minister and Team LeaderNatalie was born and raised in the East Bay. After graduating from Gonzaga University in 2019 (Go Zags!), she moved down to San Francisco for a service year and met her future husband Caleb, who is also an IV campus minister, at an IV staff party! As she began volunteering with IV in the Bay Area, she realized how formative her undergraduate IV years were to her faith journey and eventually felt called by the Lord to work in ministry. In early 2022, after prayerful discernment she decided to apply to join staff. She spent a year and a half working with San Jose State students before making her way down to the Banana Slugs in the fall of 2023. In her free time, Natalie loves to try new things, explore the outdoors, read multi-generational family sagas, and drink pearl milk tea.

Caleb Colby, Co-Team LeaderThis is Caleb’s seventh year on staff with InterVarsity. Caleb’s parents, Steve and Susie, were on staff at UC Santa Cruz in the 90’s - he’s enjoyed following in their footsteps and getting to know the town he was born in! Caleb loves seeing students get inspired by the Holy Spirit to share their faith with their friends in new ways. He also loves playing basketball, visiting friends and family in Vancouver, and meeting new people.
